Help! My computer won't boot! MSI K7T Pro 2 broken?

Hi, My other computer stopped working. About 20 seconds after it boots it freezes up, even if I go into the bios. It has a MSI K7T Pro 2 motherboard with an athlon 1ghz in it. I know that the memory is working because I have 2x 64 meg sticks in it and if I only use one, it does the same thing with both of them. I also have a network card, a sound card, and a geforce 2 in it. Could someone please tell me why it won't boot anymore? I also know that the processor is not overheating because before it freezes I can look at the temp and it isn't high, and all the fans are spinning.

Thanks everyone

remove all PCI cards then try booting up! Then if that works add one by one till it fails! Also if you are OCing set it to spec !

Try a few things like switching memory or get a new power supply. If those don't work, sounds like you are another unlucky owner of the MSI 6330 series boards. MY friend had one that just simply stopped working one day. Had to RMA the board, and got another one in return.

Good luck!

I took out all the pci cards, and I disconnected the data and power cables into the floppy drive, and it still does exactly the same thing. I'm deffinately now thinking that it's the motherboard that broken. I doubt it's the graphics card, or the processor. Does anyone know what exactly I do to RMA it and get a new one? Would I be better off just buying a new one from newegg?

Thanks again

Call MSI in City of Industry, CA at (626) 913-0828. Tell them your board model, and the symptons. I did the same thing, and they RMA support guy didn't even question me at all. Gave me an RMA number, and return address. That was that. Give them a call tomorrow, and try that out. I received the board within two weeks.
