help! must boot computer with cmos reset

Every once in a while i need to boot up my computer by reseting the cmos. i know i havent messed with anythign in the bios, onlything might be that i remove the mouse or keyboard or unplug the power.

2700 512 ram

Damned, i forgot where i found it, but some (or one) mobo's have problems when u disconnect power.

Or maybe your Bios is corrupted, download the latest BIOS for your Motherboard at your motherboards manufacturer's website...and install it

One last thing, maybe you should replace your battery in your mobo with a new one?
 
Hi, Bad CMOS battery is a good suggestion. Did you begin to lose the Time and Date a few weeks before loseing the Bios completely? Time and Date are intended to be the first thing to fail when the battery gets low. Jim
 
the mobo is new, 2 weeks old and i didnt notice the time so i coundt tell you. ill go and see if thers new bios later.
