Help: Moving my .pst folder in Outlook...problem

I moved my .pst folder from my desktop to my laptop. Both use WinXP. Desktop uses Pro, laptop uses Home. Office 2000 version of Outlook on both computers.

Now when I go to my Laptop, where I replaced the old .pst folder with the new one, all my stuff is there, old mail, custom personal folders...but my address book didn't get transferred! Instead, all my address book people are in the CONTACTS folder. All the names, info, everything is displayed, but they aren't in my address book.

When I go to TOOLS, ADDRESS BOOK and then hit the drop down menu to "Show names from the" Address book, or the Contacts list, it won't work. It gives me this error saying something like, I deleted the file, or I don't have permissions...

I don't think it has to do with permissions..unless I'm missing something.
