Help Me-Wndows XP Sucks

I am running Windows XP professional on a P4. I have 3 partitions of sizes 35GB,25GB and 20GB respectively. The O.S is installed on the 35GB partition which is the C drive. Recently, the dumb O.S has somehow come to believe that the 35GB partition is actually 350 MB and shows the amount of free space as 24KBeven though there is more than 10GB of data in that partition. I am not able to do any work as an error message appears saying that there is not enough free space. I do not have this problem with the other partitions. Also, Partition magic 7 is able to recognize it's correct size(35GB) whereas windows insists that it is only 350 MB. Is there any way to get rid of this problem? Please help me...:disgust:

run chkdsk on the volume

Errors in MFT? Bot into reccovery console or use Win XP CD amd type:

chkdsk c: /r

See if it works.
