I plan on working out at home. I currently have dumbbells and I use them for various muscles everyday.

However, I want to know the best way for abs and triceps and shoulders.

Abs- Situps, and you can hold a weight against your chest when you do them
Tri's- Hold a dumbell by the weight part behind your head and raise it up and down behind your head
Shoulders- Shoulder press- Dumbell in each hand and raise it from directly by your shoulders to over your head. You can also have your arm totally stiff and raise the dumbel from your side to shoulder level

arnold and military presses with the dumbbells. mass building exercises. you should get a bar if you really want results.

A bar I am assuming refers to a barbell. Here is what I do (you can pick any days that are the most convenient for you)...

Tuesday: Barbell curl (biceps), Barbell Benchpress (chest), Squat (awesome for your legs), Calf lift (optional exercise).

Wednesday: Barbell Tricep Extension (triceps), Deadlift (back), Upright row (shoulders), Barbell Bent Row (also for your back)

Friday: Repeat Tuesdays Exercise

Saturday: Repeat Wednesdays Exercise
