My Microsoft Xbox360 wireless controller won't work. The receiver (plugged into a working USB port) doesn't recognize it no matter how many times I press the damn sync button on the controller and even on the receiver. The controller gives a response to holding the sync button down, but the whole ring just starts flashing after the ring going in a circle.

I've tried 3 different pairs of batteries, so that's not the issue.

Please help me!
 
You need to hold the sync button on the receiver after the controllerstarts blinking all four lights. If it syncs, the lights on the controller will cycle a couple times and then will stay on the first position.
