Help me with OSX version of Powerpoint?!

So I go to View Normal so I see the slide, the notes below it, and then on the left I should see a preview of each slide. Right now I just see a tiny number next to a tiny tiny box. How do I make that left panel show slide previews??? This is how it looks on my PC but I cant make this happen on my mac.

I've never managed to get that view myself. I don't think it actually exists in the mac version.
