I purchased a Dell Axim X30 last week and since it has built-in WiFi, I want to setup a wireless network. So my question is: what's the best Wireless G router for home use? I had a Linksys Wireless B router and man, I hated that thing. Then I found out I wasn't the only one having problems with it and found threads with thousands of users hating it (at dslreports.com). Anyways, I am guessing Linksys has improved since then (as they're a Cisco company)? Or no? How's Netgear? Or any other brands you may recommend? I want something relatively easy to setup and secure enough, but won't break the budget. I have 2 desktop PCs at the moment and a Dell Axim X30 (may add a laptop later.)

Thanks all.

I have the DLink DI-524 wireless G router and it works great. It was on sale at CompUSA when I was there so I bought it. The next week I noticed they had a good deal on Linksys routers. Sometimes it's best to see what deals are out there.

I tried the new Linksys WRT54GS G/B router the other week with my Ipaq which uses 802.11b like your Ipaq. It was the one with the SpeedBooster function on it and it and it seemed to perform better than my old 802.11b (which had a signal booster unit on it) in speed, range, and consistency of connection in 802.11b mode (I don't have any G devices so I couldn't test that). Cnet gives it a good review but doesn't like the old G version without speedbooster.
