help me with heat problem!

my xp run at 54c idle and 39c for the mobo, i think it's not a reasonable temp, my system spec:

AMD AthlonXP 1800@1634MHz+ Artic SilverII ( Thermalright sk-6) <== going to change to alpha in this week, hope will help the cpu temp
Abit KR7A-Raid
1 GB of Kingmax DDR PC2400
64MB Leadtek Winfast Titanium 500 TD
- 4 X 80 MM ADDA fans
- 2 X 80 MM Sunon Fans
- 2 x 92 MM Sunon Fans
lian-li PC 70

any advise?

Sorry i cant help.

But i'm glad to see some one has temps like my new system.

i have 59C idle 67c ish Full load 40 system temp

Something's definitely wrong there. Are you sure your SK6 is on correctly? It's possible that the clip is on backwards.

I agree, J3anyus, their temps seem a little high, though still within spec. Just asking this to make sure, but how much ASII did you guys apply, as that's the only thing I can think of unless the hsu's aren't installed correctly..

Try to lower that Ambient System Temp... 39C is very high...

in comparison to his system temp, his CPU temp is very reasonable... his temps really aren't the problem at all, its more his case cooling.

thx for the suggestion, the crazy think is my mobo run at 39 c, but now in australia is very hot now ( summer season ), today is getting better my cpu run at 51c and the mobo is at 36c

in that case, if you take all the variables into consideration( MB/Ambient system temp, CPU, Heatsink, etc), your temps are not high. THey are warm, but that isn't due to the heatsink, but rather a hot australian summer :)
