Help me view pictures on Outlook Express

On all the e-mails I recieve in Outlook Express, the pictures are replaced with "red x's". I'm useing windows xp w/ sp2. I tried adding outlook express as an exception in the windows firewall, but that didn't work. Please help.

Start Outlook, tools, options, Security, Uncheck "Block images and other external content in htmp email".
