Help me understand my new Motorola Xoom?

Well, I saw Walmart had these on clearance and decided to snag one up. I know this sort of thing has been done to death, but I've got one thing keeping me from making it my primary computing device. Namely, I want to be able to print to my Deskjet 1000 a few times a year. I'm still a little unfamiliar with all of this. I know that there are apps from different vendors for different printers, but the HP app suggested you needed some sort of wireless printer. I know these tablets can recognize USB keyboards, what about printers?

Also, my wife is planning on getting a tablet as well with her usage being even less than mine. Is there any particular Android tablet that works with a printer?

Thanks for your time!

Both very good solutions. I suppose that means it's either keep one semi-working laptop around the house purely for the sake of printing or get a new printer that would work with the tablets through the wireless network...?

Well, I'm still intrigued by this. Can anyone recommend a good, simple printer that would work well with the Xoom/Android? Preference would be for an HP that uses the same cartridges, of course, but anything is fine. We need a printer but only use it maybe once a month - and never for photos.

Edit: what about the Deskjet 3000? Would it work with PrinterShare?

Thanks for the help!
