If my math is correct (1,200,000/38)*(13*200) he should get 82,105,263.16. Ok, so let's say Gus is taking a risk, providing the safe place etc.....should Walt still get like at least 20% of that 82 million? Makes no sense.

do you remember they almost died how many times trying to sell it? They almost got caught stealing the chemicals to make it? They prob didnt even have enough of the chems to make 200 pounds let alone another few pounds. Also gus prob would not continue to buy it off him. First season i thought show was boring around season three i watched all the eps good stuff.. I enjoy laughing at shows like this.

And just think if they would have kept cooking then they would have been busted for sure serving more time than murder.

I've seen the show so the spoilers weren't an issue.
As for his personal info (which took 30 seconds on google), just saving the Mods the time to look it up.

I think it was made clear in Gus' offer to Walt in the first place that it was $3 million for 3 months of work, guaranteed money. That's quite a difference from what they were making before as they had nowhere near the capacity to make enough meth in that amount of time to gross $3 million in profit (Walt had how much saved up when Skylar found the money, half a million?).

So it's a really good deal for Gus based on the amount of product he's getting at that price, but it's also a good deal for Walt as he's safe, has no overhead, and is earning more money than he would have otherwise.
