I just checked my Chase Freedom Rewards dollars and I'm up to $189.17. When I get up to $200 I qualify for a $250 check. Because I currently spend an insane amount of time at work, so I really don't have many expenses, aside from food, gas, and the occasional trip to the movies, so I already am saving a decent chunk of change. So I don't go totally crazy in the next few months, I figured I should probably use this money to buy something for myself that I otherwise wouldn't. Preferably, the item would be somehow electronics/computer related, but I'm open to any suggestions.

Here are a few limitations on the purchase:
Must be allowed in and fit in a college dorm room
Must be reasonably portable(no desks, tables, large lamps, etc)
Not an internal computer component(I only have a laptop, so peripherals are fine, but no video cards and such)
Can not be a TV(already have a 2407wfp)
No pets
No alcohol
No drugs
Cell phone suggestions must be compatible with verizon(I have a curve at the moment)

Before you ask, no I'm not giving it to you or to any charity. Sorry, but I'm a selfish bastard.

You know, if you take your title and shorten it a bit, you got the right idea.

$250 - blow.

Yeah, you got it right the first time in your summary. Either urban dictionary definitions would be correct.

Well...you've placed more than a few limitations on my creativity here....

You're a college shut-in that doesn't drink, doesn't have pets, isn't a techie geek and is worried about all the little by-laws that regulate your life in your little 8x10' cell.

How about a laxative so you can release your bowels and relax a little?

Sadly, work would have a fit if they found me doing drugs. I'd rather not risk getting caught.

I bought a PS3 with my $250 check from Chase Rewards!

I have been debating the ps3 or xbox360, still haven't decided which one to get yet though.

Well jeez that's easy, get a 360. Live is a ton of fun.

I got a 360 last year.....awesome investment, though the fans are a little loud. They dropped the price to $299 so now's the time.

Wow, you are an asshole. Way to make far too many(incorrect) assumptions about my life.

Hit a nerve, did he?

That aside, how about a nice leather jacket?

360?

Awesome dinner for two?

Investment?
