Help me spend $200

I have some money thats burning a hole in my pocket. I already spent $125 on a 3" 4# memory foam mattress pad, and I spent 25$ on dvds, will probably spend another 25$, I am also going to frame a very nice picasso print that my sister gave me - which will probably cost me about $100. So, total money spent so far is $250. I don't want to upgrade my computer, and I bought some nice headphones recently. I think I'll spend about another $200 then call it quits. SO - any suggestions? Keep in mind that while I do want to spend this money soon, I also want to get a lot of value out of it. I've been scouring the hot deals forum - but I'm sure some of you guys have some good ideas!

Thanks,

Bop

Open an account with ING Direct and earn some interest. Or start up a mutual fund acct. and invest in a high yield fund.

Thats a good idea - I'll check it out. Maybe a year from now I'll have $250 to burn instead of $200 😀

I just got the idea of spending the money on a trip up to vancouver BC(about an hour drive away) for a weekend with a hot chick. Unfortunately, I the girls that I'd want to take wouldn't want to go, yet.

If you had one hell of a stock pick, yeah.

lmao 😀

Actually, the next time I find myself with an extra few hundred dollars, I'm going to put the cash somewhere very safe, just in case I need it fast. Fast cash is important if you need to disappear.

That's actually not that bad of an idea. One of the best pieces of advice my granddad ever gave me... "keep a $20 hidden behind your driver's license, in case you're out at dinner with the fellas and you don't have enough cash."

He actually said it like that, too... he's awesome. 🙂

😀 The hard part is forgetting about it... I think I have $25 behind it now, and another $20 hidden somewhere in my room.
