Help me replace my GF3Ti200

Just for future use though, you might want a Radeon 9600 128MB (non pro/xt). It'll last longer, and you can get one for fairly cheap. I bought one from my local San Diego shop for $60

Try Ati 9000/9100/9200 cards. Seriously man, I got a 9000pro, and I can play HL2 on it at medium settings 1024 even with AF. And you can get one of those for like $50-60 now. Either that, or a GF4-4200, those have a lot of power for the money.

Why replace the card when you can replace just the fan. When my Ti200 fan died (which I learned is rather common) I just bought another fan for under $20.

I still have a Diamond Viper II with S3 savage 2000 chipset and no fan with a Duron 900.

It get 60 to 70 fps in Unreal Tournament and has good 2D also.

You can use the special textures from the second CD also.

🙂

I know all about S3TC, used to run a viper II for a while!

I haven't found a fan that will fit within my SFF case, most are too tall and will hit the side. If I could find a suitable replacement, I'd do that.
