Help me remember an old sitcom about a Werewolf..

It was an eighties, or very early nineties show about a guy who was a werewolf. He tried to be, or was, a good werewolf, and I remember he was searching for a cure.

A friend and I watched Underworld last night and the "Lycans" in it reminded me of the werewolf from this show.

Does anyone know?
