Help me remember an old peice of electronics

It was a computer. It didn't have a hard drive, it had tapes. Big cassette looking things. The case included a screen, about 4" by 4". It reminds me of a commodore 64, but I think it predates it. It was small enough a 7 year old could tote it in it's tote case.

This had to be early 90s. It was a bit dated, even then. My family had a 386 at the time which was clearly a more powerful machine.

That's almost it. It didn't have the switches. It was also a tan color.
