I need a new xbox game. I been searching the web for reviews, i have pretty much everything on the IGN top ten list except for ninja gaiden and GTA (which i have for PS2, but never really played it much other than just goofing around.)

So anyhow-- is anything good out? I checked out the demo of Riddick on a demo disc my freind had.. it seemed pretty cool, is it in stores yet?

I'm also thinking about rallisport challenge 2 (loved the first one)

What's the best hockey game out there right now?

recomendations? I like all genres of games... just want something thats fun and will keep occupied for a while. (my g/f has tons of work to do this weekend so i'm left here to entertain myself)

ESPN hockey is highly rated. I'm not bad at it but the goalies make too many ridiculous saves once you get at Pro or higher. Also, I still haven't figured out how to harass players (hooking without getting called, lifting sticks, just getting in their way without body checking) and it really pisses me off because the other team does it all the time. Other than that, it's pretty fun.

Oh and there should be a way to turn down the number of injuries, by the midway mark in the season half my team was injured.

Ninja Gaiden's frustrating as hell, at least it was for me anyways.

Fight Night's definitely fun also.

I'd have to say the game that I've played a lot lately is Riddick - Defintiely something to check out if you're into FPS~ Fun, Semi-Challenging, plenty of language...etc :D

fight night, eh? hadnt' even considered that. hmmm, how are the controls on that game? They sound unique from the reviews i'm reading.

riddick or espn hockey are probably at the top of my list right now... but still looking around.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay is kickarse. Controls take getting used to though.
Full Spectrum Warrior is dope

I personally am a fan of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. If you have a Live account you can get some sweet updates for it. But don't bother if you already have the PC version. PC version > XBox version.

True Crime is a great way to spend a weekend. It took me about 5 days to completely conquer it, and it was enjoyable.

Point of interest, the only XBox game I own is Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams. Restless Dreams is an XBox exclusive version with some extra stuff beyond what was in the PS2 version of the game. If you dig creepy games at all the Silent Hill series is a great series, though 2 is the weakest of them so far.

I'm thinking of getting this for the PC. Know of any differences?
