I'm looking at the Dell Axim X50V and the HP IPAQ hx2755. Can someone help me tell the differenced between the two because I'm new to PDA's.

The dell is much cheaper after the coupons available on ebay. Plus it comes with Media Player 10 where the HP comes with 9 I believe.

Both have Bluetooth and wireless internet.

HP is TFT screen and Dell is VGA, I really don't know the differences but think the VGA is better.

Dell has the graphics chip which is cool but I really wouldn't use it except for the wow factor but may be good for future apps.

Do they come with Excel and Word with the Windows mobil or will I have to buy them??

PC Worlds Sept PDA top 10 list has the Dell at the top and the HP isn't on there at all but they do have another HP on the list.

Someone shed some light on this for me.

Not much experience w/ the HP, but I just got the Axim and it's great!. Even if the HP is a little better (which I doubt), the Dell is half the price with coupons--no brainer: x50v

I think you're right, I'm gonna get the Dell most likely.

Now I just gotta figure out all the coupons. I know I probably gotta get the 25% off plus $35 but I think there's others I need too.

HP is TFT screen and Dell is VGA, I really don't know the differences but think the VGA is better.

Those are two seperate things - tft is the type of screen (and both the dell and the hp are probably tft), while vga is a resoulution; 640x480. I'd go with the dell for the vga.

My Dell X3i is nice, and while HP is probably about as good (for comparable models) they just don't have the insane Dell deals.

I used coupons at RossMAN's GottaDeal to get a good discount.

Dell, no contest. The thing is fast, feature-filled, and comes at a great price. Hard to beat it!
