Help me pick a natural science.

I need a natural science class for my CS degree. I really have no interest in a particular one, although I already have to take physics, so that's out. And physics is the only one that would be somewhat relative to my job, so I'm clueless as what to take.

Any suggestions for an easy A?

Ummm electrodynamics?
quantum mechanics(assuming as cs wasn't covered in your physics)?
Chemistry could work though. :p
Optics could be interesting as well.

Is chemistry easier than something like geology? The last time I took chemistry was in 11th grade, and the dickhead of the teacher made me dislike it.

Chemistry. I absolutely loved it. It's a really good 'skills' science to do, if you get round to thinking in a particular way, then all the content becomes just application of various principles and really easy to learn. Especially organic chem. Piece of cake.

So far these are my choices, I want to take around 15 hours.

CS classes (* = elective, I need 2 to graduate, others are required)

Programming Languages - 3 hours
Software Design and Dev - 3 hours
*Computer Graphics - 3 hours
Computer Ethics - 3 hours
Intro to Computer Algorithms - 3 hours

Others

Physics w/ Calculus - 4 hours
Stat II - 4 hours (hard)
Natural Science - 4 hours

Any introductory bio class is cake.

Organic chemistry is very, very evil.

Does astronomy fall into a natural science. I had to take a mandatory science credit for my h.BA. I took the first year level Astronomy course and enjoyed it.

I had a friend that took it and said the same (and it was easy), but I'm afraid I'll spend a semester identifying rocks lol.

My class was all about geologic events, stratification, oceans, volcanoes and other generally cool shit....and it was easy.

Lies!

Yup, just checked and astronomy is a natural science.
It might be better to do that then. It is relatively closely related to physics, so if you're doing that then there might be a bit of overlap. And you don't get all these people haranguing you about doing chem/bio.

Physics with Calculus. You just need to memorize a few fundamental equations then you can derive everything else.

Out of bio, chem, physics, I felt the physics class was less time consuming. It also required the least memorization. You need to take Physical Chemistry before you can start deriving some of those chemistry equations. That means you need to memorize all the equations.

Certainly there's more than 1 physics course at your college. If you enjoy the one you have to take, why not take another physics course.

My college has astronmy for non-science majors. The class is really really easy. You can take it even if you're a science major and it still meets your science requirements. Its "for non-science majors" because it is dumbed down a lot and hardly involves any math at all.

See if you college offers any "for non-science majors" classes.
