GNC Multi Ultra Mega Gold Without Iron, Timed Release Tablets

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=58415&catid=11415&trx=CRT-PLST&trxp1=17008&trxp2=58415

---**--**

I wanna get a multivitamin from drugstore.com ($10 coupon thing) but there are 203 matches.

I only want to take 1 maybe 2 capsuls, not like one of their GNC packs I saw that say take 6.

I also recently gave up beef (for the stupidest reason ever, but I don't want to say what it is), should I pick a multi-vitamin that has iron in it?

I'm looking for No preservatives and other chemical stuff that doesn't have to be there.

I'd rather take a multi vitamin that has a low % of the daily value but has a good variety of vitamins and such VS. taking one that only has a handful of vitamins but like 100000% of each.

thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Some of the multivitamins have Silicon, tin, nickel, and boron in it. IS that normal? I don't even know what Boron is.

I was looking at that, but its got nickel, tin, and silicon in there. Is that normal, because the centrum and GNC stuff doesn;t have that in there.

Take any of the "mens" formulas as they don't have iron. One A Day is fine. IF YOU ARE MALE AND DO NOT HAVE ANEMIA DUE TO LACK OF IRON IT IS POISON TO YOU. Did you get that? ;)

Take a b-complex with C and you are good to go.

ok, no iron, but what about this Boron and Silicon stuff in some multi vitamins? Do I need boron?

what about nickel and tin?

Trace elements. Your body needs them in minute quantity, however don't worry about boron deficiency unless you are a plant growing in poor soil.

I would not sweat it much either way. Go with the multivite with minerals minus iron. Your diet (even without beef) will provide the rest. As I said a B-Complex with C would be good.

From time to time I just take vitamin C tablets, helps the immune system, maybe a bottle of these wouldn't hurt

I take Sping Valley Sentury-Vite.

Of course my urine is neon-yellow about an hour after I take it. I hope I'm getting something out of it.

if you are going to take a one a day be very carefull which one it is. Many one a days do not disolve in the body because they try to pack too much into 1 pill and it's too tightly packed for the body to break it down. There have been reports of septic cleaning companies finding thousands of undigested pills some you could even still read the brand name on the pill. I buy all my vitamins from a company called roex, they're mainly on the internet, but a few small stores carry their products. Here's their site Roex

neon yellow means there's LOTS of vitamin B in it.

well, If i see any vitamins sticking out of my poop I'll switch to another brand. But I'm sure GNC makes a good product.

whats the deal with taking them with a meal? Why is it different from taking them in the morning and skipping breakfast like I normally do.

What if you ground them up? Or atleast broke them into smaller pieces?

generally, they're best tolerated when taken with food. i've also read that vitamins taken on an empty stomach can hurt your stomach lining

I'll vouch for the GNC Ultra Mega. The 100mg B-Complex that it has is a fantastic energy boost in the morning. Their tablets do dissolve in a time-released fashion; no complaints from me or my friends (who use the Women's Ultra Mega and Mega Men).

Used to take GNC Mega Mens, switched to Vitamin Shoppes "Especially For Men" brand though, no annual fee, can buy any day of the weak, it's half the price and the same ingredients.

Search for VS-1313 # link

Those "super mega ultra" vitamins are just a waste of money IMO. You're pissing it all away. Unless you're an athlete or hardcore weight lifter, it's not going to really supplement anything. And then again, if you were one of those, you'd already have a good multivitamin picked out by a trainer/coach
