Help me pick a 19" LCD monitor

I have about a $700 max budget for a 19" LCD monitor. Preferably black, but will also consider silver.

Can a 19" widescreen be found for this price?

If Dell Home does NOT charge sales tax in SC then I would go that route, buy the Dell 1901FP. Excellent LCD with a nice 3 year warranty.

No, he would need $100 more. Dell SB charges tax unless you have a special account with them. The 2001FP costs just under $800 shipped.

Dell LCD monitors are the best. Top of the line.

As Rossman said, the 1901FP is probably the best choice and best priced.

On BF, they had a Envision 19" which I thought was a good deal also, but I prefer Dell stuff.

MisterJackson if you are a gamer they are supposed to be ghosting free.

I wouldn't count on that. I've used the 1901FP a couple times with DVI and I noticed ghosting/streaking. But for the price, it's worth it.

 

Are the coupons no good on the 20" model?

Hmmm....maybe just much less noticeable than other brands then. I've seen many games rave over these monitors.
