I don't know how come my machine started hosting. i have my room-mates using my machine. somebody must have downloaded something from those sleazy pondy sites and now i have this bot on my machine. i tried looking for any active process other than the usual system processes but didn't find none. so i m totally confused bout how to stop this bot. i think its eating into my bandwidth and god knows wat else its doin.
can somebody help me and lemme know how to get rid of this. one thing i can do is block these ports on my router but my priority is getting rid of the bot.
help me

I could be wrong,b ut this looks somewhat normal to me. Post the whole output of a netstat -an

If you are really worried, make sure your anti-virus definitions are up to date and do a full scan, run the latest version of ad-aware, and check for wierd rules in your personal firewall.

Wow, that's alot of ports open.

TCP turbo:epmap turbo.tdmy.com:0 LISTENING
TCP turbo:microsoft-ds turbo.tdmy.com:0 LISTENING
TCP turbo:netbios-ssn turbo.tdmy.com:0 LISTENING

Those I *believe* are normal windows stuff. 1214 I believe is kazaa, who knows what the others are.

Also grab TcpView from Sysinternals, it's a quick way to show what process has what ports open...
