I have:

Asus A7N8X deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Maze3 waterblock

how do I overclock and what speeds can I expect?
 
go into your bios and change your fsb/multi/voltages/ram timings accordingly until you find something that works

what kinda ram do you have? psu? cpu cooler?

ram pc3200 512MB Micron
PSU = 450 Watt Sparkle -- Good PSU, Quiet, cheap, stable rock solid voltages
water pump Eheim
Heatercore - All copper 14" x 6" x 2" from a Buick Skylark ($20 @ Advanced Auto Parts my favorite part)
 
you should have no problem doing 2.4ghz id say..

try 200fsb and like an 11 or 12 multi to start, maybe 1.7 volts or so..
