Hey, I have a question about a computer im building, I would really like to know if the computer im building has all the things in it to have a good FPS

Which Ones Better ?

AMD 3400 with Nvidia 6800 Ultra

or

AMD 3800 with Nvidia 6800 GT


When you pick one , tell me how good it may be , and if it have a good FPS rating...

Id go with the 3800 with the gt, because with some astute overclocking, you can make the gt equal in speed to the ultra.

But I don't overclock and I am not willing to over clock because it is too much of a risk..... ( plus I dont know how to 🙂 )

whatever is cheaper, you wont notice a difference. I would get the 3400 with a 6800gt ;P

it's not a big risk at all and it's not that hard. i've never had any bad after effects from ocing and hearing people fry their cpu's is really rare (not by chance, but from stupidity most of the time). 🙂

Go with the 3400/6800GT The small increase in performance you will see with the 3800/6800 Ultra is not worth the extra cash.

hmmm...... I thought the 3800 was like a beast compared to a 3400, isn't it faster and stuff ? O ya and its a 3400 with an 6800 Ultra,
and the 3800 with the GT, everyone says this CPU is a lot faster ......................

It is faster yes....but you won't notice that much of a difference. So unless you need to spend your money for some reason, it's not worth it.

is it a lot more Frames per second ? Will I notice a difference in everyday websurfing ?
and will I notice a big change in Game performance ????

couple more frames here and there probably, but nothing drastic

if you're web surfing there will be zero difference

Get the 3400 and a BFG 6800GT. The BFG 6800GT comes overclocked, and has a lifetime warantee.

although you guys all recomend the 3400....... I think Im ganna go with the AMD 3800 with 6800 GT, Im so very sorry, but everything will be a lot faster ! If any of you have comments on this please tell me .... Thanks
