i have a dead p3v4x or so i think. i tested it on two computers and so far so good its dead. i want to rma it. i only bought it like maybe three months ago and its dead. is there any way for me to rma it to asus? its very hard. i tried calling the number, it just keeps ringing. i tried e-mail, they dont respond. is there anything else i can do? i think i might be able to take it back to the people who sold it and they might be able to rma it, but what if it isn't dead? that would be very shame. please could you guys give me advice? thanks!

you could take it to a ma and pop shop and have them make sure. If they are a good shop they won't charge you much, if anything. I doubt if anyone is going to be happy about rmaing a 3 month old motherboard.....

ASUS has the WORST service EVER!!! My CUSL2 broke and I am having a HELLA time trying to contact Asus... they are totally vague about warantee on the manual and they don't even provide a tech support number. I e-mailed them several times and have never goten a response. These bastards think they can just ignore their customers!!

I've had 2 motherboards in the past die on me... any mom and pop place will tell you to get it replaced and will charge you an arm and a leg for both the service and parts (mobo). I wouldn't waste my time, just get a new one if you like me can't contact those asus bastards to RMA it... if you ever do get in touch with them please do LMK. e-mail

you have to call up and be a total a$$hole to them, companies like that will bend over backwards for 1 out of every 20 customers, just keep being more bitchy until you are in that top 5%

I called up Iomega to get my zip drive replaced, got shafted like 4 times, then i had my friend call (he was a total jerk to them), they sent me a brand new one the next day overnight express :)

that's like asia's tech support number... they don't even have a support number in the americas and ignore all their e-mails... I'm extremely displeased with their poor/lack of service
