I am attending a university in Los Angeles since last year; I have no place to lodge so I've always been living in the dorms.
I missed my deadline for my campus' Housing, so now I am in the waiting list. Last week I enroll it, one lady said I will do fine coz I am Third in the line, and ask me to return on Monday. On Monday I came back, another lady said they still can't be firm yet, but she said they took a couple out from the List already and ask me to come back on Wednesday (well, you guess what will happen next). So I think, if I was the third and a couple is gone, so I must the next one. So I came back on Wednesday, and then another Dude said he will do the assigning tonite (wed's nite) and call back tomorrow. I asked him, "Am I the next?" He said no and I am matter of fact the EIGHTH!
I didn't even bother to tell him I was the third coz I am sure he will say, "Who told you that?" and disregard.
so I came back today (Thursday) and ANOTHER DUDE (notice, there were 4 different ppl) told me that there are STILL NOT SURE. and they will call me instead...
So how long can I wait, I am staying in my guardian's house and it's major hassle for transportation.
but see, here the dilemma,
I can't just wait and let them procrastinate, which I am sure that's what they are doing.
But I can't push them coz I am the one in need of them.
what can I do?
