Help me out here

If you buy only one at a time, it costs you $1.33. To get the 3 for $1, you must buy 3.

Thats right but its also very misleading. In the same store they have many items that are like 3/4 ( this means 3 for $4.00 ) or 3/1 ( 3 for $1.00 )

Code:
if x<3,
cost =1.33 *x;
else if x=3
cost = 1.00 ;
else
cost= 1.00 + 2.19*(x-3) ;

x being soda pop.

what store is that lol? food4less?

I was thinking this but it says "2.19" in the white part of the top of the tag...

I think white price is the "regular" price, the bottom left is "sale" price, and bottom right is "super bulk sale" price.

But I agree. Confusing.

I noticed off to the side, at the top in white, it lists Pints for 51.8 cents. Why? Are there Pints of Squirt for sale next to the 2 Liters? I can't say I have ever seen a Pint of pop in a store. So the prices in yellow are 3 "2 Liters" for $4, and 3 "Pints" for $1? And if you buy 3 "2 Liters" that would be equivilant to 31.6 cents per pint.

1 Liter = 2.11 Pints (US liquid)
2.11 X 6 = 12.66 Pints
$4 / 12.66 = 31 cents

For some reason, they feel it is very important to let you know how much you will be saving per Pint.

Safeway FTL.

Down here, they're one of the more expensive grocery stores we have...with the worst customer service and perhaps the worst "store brands," of all the major chain stores we have left. (Albertson's and Lucky's are gone/bought out) Raley's is the only one we have that's more expensive overall than Safeway.

Yeah. Cans , different size bottles and stuff all list it so you can compare prices. Its really bad though when one size has it listed as pints and then the next size is listed in ml.
