Hey, this is my first post here. I've tried anything I can think of but with no success. I am running on the FIC AU13. I heard that the 8RDA unlocks the TBreds for you, and since FIC based the AU13 partly off of the AU11 which was co-developed with the 8RDA, I thought that this feature would be included. First I tried to increase the multiplier from 11 to 11.5. My computer waited 10 seconds, booted, with the multiplier back at 11. I tried to change the FSB, thinking maybe I needed to unlock my processor and this was an easy way to see. I put the FSB at 134 up from 133, 10 second wait, boot, and its back at 133. I set it to 138 thinking maybe it needed to be higher, booted, heard a long beep, and it came back at 133. Any ideas? I am a newbie at this and I have almost no budget so I cant buy a new board or anything.

I've had great success with that board! Maybe your CPU isn't a thoroughbred, but a palomino. Have you checked for sure that it is a tbred? Even so, tbred A's don't tend to overclock that high. The max you will be getting is 1.8 GHz on air and maybe 1.9 if you're lucky.

can you tell us the code on the chip?
if it's on the die itself, it means that you have a Palomino

Thanks for the reply, Ive gottin my OC up a little (I was pressing buttons when it was booting, apparently that resets it back to the default). I'm sure its a TBred A. Core is a rectangle so its not a palomino. The model is like AIUGA, I'm not sure. It looks exactly like all the pictures ive seen of the TBreds, and the chip is a brownish color. Since it ends in A its probably a Tbred A. Any recommendations for FSB/Multiplier/Volatages? Right now its at 12.5x133 at 1.575v, which is OK but if I can go higher I most certainly will :) My main limit on this is my 300w PSU and all I have is the stock CPU cooler and a few case fans. (With my old palomino I was able to get my FSB to about 138 stable, which sucks ass) My ram should support DDR333, thats what it said on the box anyway (generic ram though). I guess thats all the important info on my system.
