Ok, I've never overclocked an A64, and am confused.
2800+
Chaintech VNF3-250
Corsair ValueDDR 512MB 2.5 @400

Can anyone help with explaining what I should do in the BIOS. Maybe it is all the beer, or maybe I am an idiot, but right now I am really confused.

Thanks.
(and the overclocking guide confused me as well because tonight I am a drunk idiot)

I know people have been getting 2.3+ out of these. Any suggestions on the configuration of the BIOS?

overclocking while drunk would probably be a bad idea anyways.

I'm unfamiliar with this board and the bios. Reboot your computer and go into the bios. snoop around for a while and get yourself familiar with the commands. After giving yourself a basic guide of what your bios settings consist of. Check online for overclocking with your board and they're will defenitely be guides. You may have to download a modified bios to allow overclocking.

Set FSB to 256
Set HT to 3x (i think this is in advance chipset options) This is important
Set CPU Volt to 1.6
Set Ram Volt to 2.6
Set DRAM Speed to 166
Set (1T/2T) 1T

This should net 2300Ghz. I have the same setup and this is the best overclock i have been able to do and completely stable.
