i named him jermain.

maybe you can name the dog a human name. all my pets have human names.

my fish is jermain, my cats are gary and walter. human names rock. and their funny for pets.

I read an article recently that said using human names for pets (mainly cats and dogs) was the biggest "trend" these days. I'm in agreement with you though, I like human names for pets too.
