Help me make a motherboard decision

I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte DS-3 simply as an interim choice. I have the memory in my sig, and E6600 arriving tomorrow.


I honestly am completely stuck on what to get. The BadAxe is stable but lacks ocing options unless you own a soldering gun. The Asus P5WDH has mixed reviews and is nowhere to be seen, not to mention $$$$. The Foxconn does crappy FSB, the MSI is a mixed bag, but the Gigabyte DS-3 has issues with not booting up its memory under 1.8v

Any suggestions guys? I'm mainly looking for a stable, high OC board, don't care about a bunch of features like 1394/WiFi, but would prefer a 975x board for crossfire

I'm using the Gigabyte DS3. I'm very happy. The latest BIOS fixed the memory issues.

I'll probably get that one. Which chip are you using and what results have you gotten?
