As the last note in the other thread says, follow standard setup procedures using "tulip" as the driver. I presonally use RH7, which autoconfigures the system. Kudzu and LinuxConf may be of some use to you in terms of config files. As usual with linux, milage varies.
The best way is the read the
network howto. By the end of it, not only will you know how to set up the card, but a good deal about the networking subsystem as a whole.
