I never thought that actuallly installing a game would make it not work..... but then again, its been so long... all of our games that we play at lan parties are passed around... most everyone owns a copy but noone ever installs... lol I wouldnt doub that the copies of most games that I have currently were created a couple of years ago on someone elses PC

Then again, we had a problem similar to yours with Dungeon Seige, the game would crash out consistantly on 2 or 3 peoples machines, but when we copied the exact same game directory from someone elses computer that the game was working on, it worked fine for us... Strange
