I woke up with this riff in my head. Not sure who it is but I think it's an 80's song:

I played it off what's in my head, my not be 100% accurate or in the right key. Checked a bunch of top guitar riffs videos on the 'tube and can't find it.
 
Yea, it's 80s. It escapes me too, but I think one of the lyrics includes "good lovin' gone bad", but it's NOT the Bad Company song.
