Help me identify a rock band

I was at a bar the other day and I heard a fairly popular song that sounded like acoustic Alice in Chains or Godsmack, but it wasn't. I noted the song's artist but I was drunk. Anyone have any ideas of bands that sound like them?

Yep, and it is on the self-titled CD. Just in case you care, all of the musicians who played on that release (other than Travis Meeks, of course) formed the band Tantric when Travis kicked them out of DOTN.

Yep, and it is on the self-titled CD. Just in case you care, all of the musicians who played on that release (other than Travis Meeks, of course) formed the band Tantric when Travis kicked them out of DOTN.

Touch, Peel, Stand is an awesome rock song. Sooths my soul playing that on my acoustic.
