Help Me Hook Up This Mega Super Awesome Cool Setup For my Dorm

Can anyone help me with what i want to do here. Someone posted a deal for this Sharp 5.1 Dolby Digital . I bought it today and when we move in i want to hook this up to everything else.
For our Dorm
My cousin has a 20" Awia Flat screen (model TVF2000 here TVF2000 Manual ), we want to hook up his PS2 (to use as DVD player), my altec lansing ACS 48 ( ACS 48 ), my cousins Yamaha speakers ( YST-MS50W Yamaha YST ) and my computer, Which has a Live Value! card. I know this is alot, but can it happen? Whats the best way to do it

Thats a whole lot of speakers... I bought one of these units, and I think all you need to hook up the PS2 is an optical cable. As far as the other speakers go, I don't know what to tell you.

Looks like you will have to use the compsoite outs on the PS 2. I see that it has a optical OUTPUT, but it doesn't list a input. That must be a typo or something though, because it is Dolby Digitial capable, and that is not possible w/ composite inputs. So, scratch that.

Here's what I suggest. Just use a optical cable from the PS2 to the stereo. Then use a svideo or composite from the PS2 to the tv.
For the pc, buy a cable that splits the output from the soundcard to a right and a left. (1/8th to RCA) Then run that to the AUX channel on the stereo. I wouldn't bother with the other speakers. They wouldn't offer enough to make it worth the effort, IMHO.

Surround-encoded signals can run over S/P-DIF cabling too...
