What you could do is and I'm not sure if you can do this is that you could hook up the hdmi outputs from the dish network receiver and the blu ray to the tv and then run the audio out from the TV to the receiver to one of the video inputs. The reason I'm not sure on this is that I read somewhere that the signal does not split this way from hdmi to regular analog audio but it may be possible.
The other way you can do this is to run only the audio/video outputs (L+R) from the dish receiver and blu ray to the receiver. You can hook these to the video1 and video2 audio inputs on the receiver. Don't hook anything on the video/audio outputs on the receiver. You can run the hdmi cables from the blu ray and dish receiver directly to the tv. So in essence you'll get video (and audio if you choose to turn it up) from the hdmi to the tv set from the satellite dish receiver and blu ray player and main audio from the receiver.
