Help me guess the movie

[Maximilian]

Its a semi modern movie, made between 1990 and 2000, i dont really remember the plot exactly. At the start of the movie there is a temple? or something and a labrador dog is being fed pieces of meat. At the end theres a coffin type thing involved, its much more than a coffin though its a big metal aha! its a sarcophacus! Thats what it is, a silver metal sarcophacus, i dont know if the bad guy wanted to get in it or try to get something out im not sure. The bad guy had black hair and a beard, looked a bit tanned i think. There might also have been a large spherical tank of some sort and the good guy has to escape from it at some point in the movie. The tank looked industrial, not like a small decompression thing like in that bond movie.

I keep thinking the saint? or the shadow something? IMDB says the saint has something to do with cold fusion, i dont think this movie had that at all.

I had a guess, val kilmer but hes got nothing with the shadow, so i checked some of the baldwins and ive got it!!

Set in the 30's? I dont remember it being set in the 30s but whatever im pretty sure thats it. Maybe the sarcohpacus was an atomic bomb too lol. Ah this will be fun to rewatch and see just how wrong ive remembered it 😱

If you enjoy crap movies it's worth a re-watch. I mean, it's not AWFUL...
