What a pain in the a$$. I watered my christmas tree earlier and I got tree sap on my write. Now I have sap on my skin and arm hair and I can't get it off. I've been scrubbing and scrubbing. Any recommendations?

On a side note: This would make a great macro shot, but I don't have a dig cam yet.

try nail polish remover, pine sol or turpentine.

Another more "organic way is to rub dirt on the tree sap until it all rubs off.

its your choice, they all work.

I don't have any of that stuff in my apartment. I guess I may just have to wait until tomorrow.

A butane torch always works for me, especially when I get tree sap on or near my eyes.

DISCLAIMER: Do not try this at home without having an emergency response team present. Side effects may include redness of skin. blisters, peeling flesh, blindness and unbearable pain.

You have been warned.

You know how you get gum off of something, right? You just take a big piece of gum and dab it on the errant gum that you want to remove. So just go back to the tree and get a big wad of sap and dab at the sap on your skin, and it should all come off. Be sure to get some in both hands because if you don't get enough to finish the first time you don't want to have to go look for more.

Simple Green cleaner (from hardware stores, maybe auto parts stores) works great for me on tree sap on my truck.
