help me find the title of this movie

The movie is a true story about a lady who is spoiled, and has 2 sons. She has a weathly father who has a small town hardware store and she munipulates her sons into murdering her father so that she can get her inheritance. The son does not want to kill his grandfather but ends up going to the hardward store and shooting him. The son goes to prison and the mother does not stand by him. I think the truth does come out but not sure. I remember watching this on tv in the 90's.
