yeah in registry, local machine, software I believe find the entry for windows media player and find the playlist file, and BTW I too refuse to help you on moral grounds 😉

what if you find what porn he views and it turns out to be gayporn. whatcha gonna do then... leave the kid alone..unless he's 6 or something.

I could only see you getting irritated if he's visiting YOUR house and using YOUR computer. If hes just chillin at home and looking at pron I don't think you or anyone should give a care what he does.

<< hm what if they were just media files from a cd or something. would there be a file access list somewhere? i'm pretty sure i ran across an article on it a long time ago, can't remember squat of course >>

if they were media files from a cd... i doubt windows would cache them (i could be wrong). but check this out. if he uses media player for his pr0n viewing pleasures... go to regedit... then...

hk_current_user-->software-->microsoft-->media player-->player-->recentfilelist. u can conclude what was what based on the file names.

EDIT: actually... the above method is the same as looking at the recently opened files from media player... so just do it the easy way.

<< well sorta. my little cousins pc is under suspicion. kids not stupid enough to leave recent docs history intact or files on the hd. so does the registry keep track of more files that have been accessed in the past? >>

are u trying to cover up for yourselve =)

<<yeah its easy to hide stuff if you're smart and they're stupid. just take all your pr0n, zip it into one file, rename it syslog.dat and put it in winnt/system32/log or something like that. also copy some other random crap from winnt/system32 into winnt/system32/log to make it look like it's an important directory.>>

I think somebody is hiding something....😀

LOL @ this thread. 😀

Edit: In Windows 2000, there seems to be a lot of info stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU

That's deleted when you clear out recently opened documents. I agree with the general consensus of letting him have his damned pron. He's looking at pron... he knows it, you know it, the whole fscking world knows it.

This site has a comic to help your cousin "save himself" or some sh*t
rolleye.gif

(no, I am not honestly endorsing that site...)

*edit* wouldn't it be wild if the mod edited his post and told him to "leave the cousin alone"? hehe

There are plenty of ways to accidentally spawn many, many porn website, simply by clicking in the wrong place.

I don't think finding ad-ware type stuff with pron affiliation is enough evidence for guilt.

Hell, even on my computer at work, occassionally an endless spawning of pron windows pops up as I frantically attempt to close them.
