Help me find the best mouse

Heya,
i need some neato mouse for my machine. Since i got a usb keybord, my old mosue doesnt wanna work.
the only thing i want is optical sensor (no balls) and it shouldnt be white or any color near that (my machine is black mostly)

right now, i'd have to say the older MS explorer. I don't like logitechs new design, and i'm fed up w/ their drivers. MS's new explorers side buttons are not very good IMO. The wireless one kicks ass comfortwise.. but it's wireless and didn't work well enough for me. Of course, i'm biased towards curved mice only (and preferably below/close to $30 if i can find it) more comforting.

i know, i hate the new logitech design. I think il go for the older mouseman optical cordless (it was silver if i can remeber right)

What I use.

Microsoft Intellimouse Optical. Head over here to see the thread about this current flaming hot deal. After rebate it'll drop to 10$, comes to around 22$ out the store for a 40$ mouse. I'm using it now and it's great. Better then my logitech optical cherry red SE mouse, but part of that has to do with microsofts great software for it compared to logitech's crappy buggy software
