Help me find something to test my home network!

Yes, I need recommnedation on Interactive Network Testing Software...ie, games. I've got a new system that can run about anything and an older 233mmx (that can run some things.) I'm looking for a few fun games that should work on both and network over a simple peer-to-peer. Racing or shooters most likely. Most importantly, something that will allow one copy of the software to work for both. I'm just gonna play around a bit, this isn't a long-term thing worthy of two copies being purchased.

On a 233 mmx, you might want to try Starcraft. The demo works on a local network and I still love that game!
