help me find (non-slang) substitute words for the slang phrase "like"

i cant seem to get rid of it, it just slips out. What are some substitute words for the slang term "like."

alee25 may have been referring to a statement such as:
"I was like hanging out and my friend was like sleeping ,so I like woke him up and then he was like all mad at me."

i know what it means. but like, anyone that like talks like that...really like annoys me. like it isn't that hard to like stop saying it. just don't like say it.

why replace it? so you can continue to be annoying.

how about "dawg" or "son" or "kid" or "word"

Agree.

Though I doubt I would have used "'tard" ;)

It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than open it and remove all doubt.
