Help me find my HorizSync and VertRefresh settings!

I'm trying to install Freebsd 4.6 and installing X is a biatch! I need to find my horizontal sync and vertical refresh rate, but my manuals and website doesnt have that info. I have an Acer TravelMate 732TLV laptop. Installing RH and Mandrake was a breeze, but I like BSD better.

Any tools I can download that can give me a summary of my system? That may help
