I live in Ottawa, Canada and we are having a brutally hot summer. I've been looking for window air conditioner but the problem is my window is only 12" (h) x 20.5" (w) and practically all window air conditioners are just slightly bigger than that.
I've gone to pretty much all the big chains (home depot, best buy, rona, sears, the bay, futureshop, the brick) and called a lot of shops I found in the yellow pages but nobody was able to help me. I know that A/C's that fit in my window exist (ge and kenmore have them) buy I can't figure out where to buy them or even order them online in Canada. Anyone have an idea of where else I should look? Save me from this heat!
