I need a motherboard for my new i5 chip.... My budget is $100-$170, and this is the website Newegg.com
I am only going to have 1 GPU probably a HD5770 or HD5850.

I don't know a lot about motherboards so any tips would be great..
Would like if the mobo had an auto OCing feature.. Since i don't know how to OC.

Here are a few that looked good to me..

I've been very happy with the Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2. For the price I don't think I could have done better. One downside for some is no SLI/CF, but since you're not going to do that then you can save money on your board and put it towards the GPU. Make sure you update your BIOS, Gigabyte has provided a number of updates, fixes and improvements, since these boards were first released. Gigabyte has some auto-OC software. But if you're intent on OCing, I'd strongly recommend reading a little bit and trying it yourself. The software and even hardware based "auto-OC" functionality is usually less efficient (pumps in too much power) or too conservative (doesn't take advantage of the fastest possible speed), or both.

i just built an 860 with the biostar t5xe... low feature (but has xfire and sli), cheap board, but has the essentials and oc'd to 4ghz successfully with a couple tweaks in the bios...

Yep, I just ordered mine today. I'm going to put it into a SG03 with a i5 750 and a Corsair H50 cooler. Should be sweet when done. Definitely update to the latest BIOS. F3 was kinda quirky and not too stable I've heard. The P55M-UD4 has mofset cooling I hear and better for those going for higher overclocks but the UD2 makes a good lower cost choice and all the reviews I have read of it have been positive.
