I will buying a new PC and got this config for me. Now i need some opinion about whether it is good and future proof cause i cant afford another PC in the next 3 years.

Motherboard: Sapphire PURE Crossfire II PC-I7RD400
Processor: P4 670 3.8GHz/800 LGA775 (Retail)
Casing: Tsunami Casing (Thermaltake)
PSU: 560 Watt PSU(Thermaltake)
HDD: Samsung 3.0Gbps 200GB 7200RPM 8MB SpinPoint P
Video Card: ATI X1800XT 512 MB
Sound Card: Creative X-Fi Fatality FPS
RAM: Transcend Dual Channel DDR 400 Mhz Bus Speed (512MB * 4)

Along with a monitor and fer optical device.

Now is my config ok or can i put something better i can still afford an extre $100

You chose Intel, a mobo I havent heard of, a PSU with too much wattage, a 200GB SATA 2 instead of a 250GB SATA, an expensive sound card, and 4x512 instead of 2x1GB.

I can't comment.

Well cause in my coun try there is actually very few people who use AMD.
And you can get the Motherboard details in Sapphire website. I wanted a crossfire Motherboard and its my only option.

And i cant find 1 GB RAM in my country so ahve to stick with 512 MB

I have been using ATI for a long time so i have decided to stick with it.
I have already ATI 9000 Pro, Sapphire 9600 Pro so i guess i will use X1800XT
And thanks to LASTHITLARRY i will buy the 250GB SATA Hard disk.
But what PSU should i use???????????

the hdd should be a T7K250 hitachi 250gb sata2 hdd
the video card from ati is fine, comparable to the latest nvidia card
but id strongly suggest getting an nforce4 motherboard,,,
the ati ones are still questionable and flaky.

do not go 4x512, it will limit ur stability and overclocking
do go 2x1GB.

Get a 450w from a good manufacturer, such as fortron, antec, enermax, seasonic, OCZ. P4's run extremely hot, especialy the 3.8ghz, the stock cooler may not be enough to keep it from throttling. Nothing wrong with the hard drive you chose. I really recomend using a motherboard with an Intel chipset when it comes to using an Intel CPU, but it's up to you.

get an AMD64 this is a gaming rig that is what you want pentuim 4 is not better than AMD64 stop thinking about the ghz.
good choice though on the motherboard you can get an amd64 pure board
case that is your choice p-180 is nice though so look into it
i'd go with a seasonic s12 500w over that or maybe even a 600W
good hd
that card is a rip-off listen man i am an ati fan and even i know that nvidia raped ati you need to get nvidia this time a 7800gt or 7800gtx will do
nice sound card
ram choice bad you need to get two 1 gb sticks

what is your monitor choice and optical drive?

In my country we have some PSU from ThermalTake (even that is rare) and 560 Watt is the best i get.
I cant even order goods online cause there are no delivery's made to my country frm any of the online order compnay.
I cant get the AMD processor or motherboard cause we dont have any AMD crossfire motherboard in markets.

I think i will get a 21" Samsung CRT monitor along with a DVD-Rom and a DVD- Writter from Plextor.
I could get the 7800GTX (Sparkle) but here it will cost me almost $150 more than the X1800XT (Sapphire) card. So i cant get it.
When i asked the shops they said they cant get their hands on the 7800 GTX cards
I am sticking to ATI cause a new shop got the Sapphire dealership and they are selling the X1800XT at appox $610

Well since you don't really have many options, I guess you have to stay with Thermaltake? Too bad, cause Antec makes some nice cases. Out of the two you listed, I would take the Tsunami.

Like everyone else, I really would reccomend AMD over intel. Do some further research and see. The question has been debated to death. Only reason not to if for certain tasks and if you can;t get AMD.
