Help me fill up my new hdd!

During the normal classday of cisco ccna classes, A fellow student indicated an excess of hdd's, due to the fact that he could not use them on his interface ('twas sata, his rig had ide). Jokingly I asked him what he was going to do with it and he asked if i would like it. Being in need of a new hdd, I figured I'd say yes, figuring he was going not to show. Today he brings it in, as I was picturing a 40 gig maxtor from 2002, Opening the antistatic bag, I found a may '05 wd3000jd. I am at a loss for words, as as far as I've had any hdd, the biggest was 160. This is where you people come in, What should I put on it? And yes, the rhethorical PR0n, but seriously, What to smatter it with?

Imaging? Sounds good to me, less dvd's, plus I've alcohol 120% which should work fine. Anyone know how many gigs a half hour of 1080i/p uses?
 
Yep, He's a 2nd year comp student, but does not have sata, I happen to and have sience last year and it just so happenes that the formatted capity of this one drive, is greater than the rated capicty of both my other hdd's combined.
 
That 300gb wouldn't do me justice, I need 1TB to 2TB... Actually not a good idea to have too much on the HD, I have had a crash and poof all 120gb gone 🙁
 
DVD ISO's, game ISO's, music in WAV format.
I promise you will fill it up.

I have a 300GB drive (279 after formatting) and its almost full. Also, filesharing would fill it up fast if you download the right stuff. Just let it run 24/7.
 
Indeed I shall! Due to a bum cdrom, it's really annoying everytime you boot to install windows to another directory. What would be a good hdd imager? ghost?
 
Install ePSXe and as many PSX ISO's as you can find.
Install Project64 and as many N64 roms as you can find.
Install VisualBoy and as many GBA roms as you can find.
Install ZSNES and as many SNES roms as you can find.
Get where I'm going with this?

Seriously, get a high-defintion tuner such as ATI or Fusion and start encoding programs in HD. Should fill up the drive very fast
